Picture Books

These characters are in my head…and they have to come out.

As an avid picture book collector and connoisseur, I decided to put the books down and pick the pencil up and take a shot at crafting my own story. The result is Memoria, my first picture book about a globetrotting girl trying to hold onto her memories.

I've just completed my follow-up picture book, I Feel Silly, and am actively querying agents.

My latest work-in-progress is tentatively titled Gramburgers.

When Salmon T. Bear enters the park wearing his finest top hat and fanciest tie, he immediately regrets his fashion choices – his outfit doesn’t fit in at all! Will his couture catastrophe cause him to reconsider?

An expressive and fun take on insecurity and comparison, I Feel Silly shows that even the best of us can worry a bit too much about what others think.

Anna just got back from her big trip. But will her memories remain, or will time whisk them away?

An affectionate picture book about travel, memory, and the passage of time, Memoria charms its readers, reminding them that even in the face of the mundane, fond memories can come rushing forth in serendipitous ways, reigniting past adventures.

How much is too much when your eyes are bigger than your stomach?

When Pearl’s two sisters decide to expand their burger business, will they bite off more than they can chew, or can these three septuagenarians find a way out of this pickle? A hilarious and meditative take on striking a balance between ambition and indolence, Gramburgers is an ageless tale of finding one’s footing between passion and duty.
